The Snap:

Laura Pergolizzi, known as simply LP, has finally released her latest album, Forever For Now. Containing all of the tracks from her brilliant Into the Wild EP, the full-length album delivers more of the same up-tempo pop and stunning vocals that will leave you in awe.

Forever For Now is now available on  iTunes and Spotify.

The Download:

LP is an artist that I can never seem to get enough of. In fact, I don’t think I’ve gone one week without listening to her Into the Wild EP since its release. So, saying that I was excited for this album is a massive understatement, especially since it’s been teased for nearly a year now.

Thankfully, LP didn’t disappoint.

Disregarding all of her previously released tracks – which I reviewed last year – the rest of the album is fantastic. Different from her EP, yes, but still fantastic.

And in all honesty, with a voice like hers, it’d be pretty difficult to fuck something up enough to actually make it sound bad.

The sound changes many times throughout the album, ranging from the upbeat and almost-electronic opener “Heavenly Light,” to the powerful Paramore-like “Salvation,” and then transitions to the slow and tragic styling of the title track.

There’s a lot of variety on the album, and while she does seem to occasional recycle a few notes between the songs, each track is easily distinguishable from one another.

Forever for Now is not an album you want to miss out on.
