The Snap:

Dan Croll, the indie-folk singer that plays some seriously catchy music, is finally ready to release his debut album, Sweet Disarray, on March 10th. The album’s teaser does a great job of displaying some of the awkward moments that occur when you have a music studio in your apartment, but it does an even better job of hyping up Dan’s debut album.

You can pre-order Sweet Disarray on iTunes, or check out a few of his singles on Youtube.

The Download:

From Nowhere” was Croll’s first breakthrough song. It spent a few days at the top of the Hype Machine charts before getting airtime on BBC Radio, and the official music video is now sitting at just under 900,000 views.

It’s not just “From Nowhere” that deserves to be mentioned, though. “In/Out” and “Compliment Your Soul” are both solid tracks that only make the album better, and “Home” — while not one of my personal favorites — is an all-around good song.

Last year I talked about his quick rise to the top of the charts, and my only complaint was the lack of available music. Thankfully that problem will be resolved by Sweet Disarray, and I couldn’t be happier.

Don’t be surprised if you hear Dan Croll on mainstream radio stations by the end of the year – it’s only a matter of time.

Check out the teaser below.

Take Action!
