IT IS ONLY IN THE MOST EXTREME SITUATIONS THAT A NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE IS REQUIRED

The Snap:

One of the goals of The Snap Download is to try to see if we can monetize these random short opinion pieces. We now have our first year under our belt and while the page views are good – over 110,000 last year — the monetization is not. For the longest time I had no idea why. That all changed over the past several days. I now know exactly why. Our fearless leader, Shane, is clearly asleep at the wheel ().

The Download:

I admit that Shane probably has other things going on. Specifically, he and I are working on a mobile app that we hope to release in a few months and I know he has another full time job, but the fact is that he is asleep at the switch. He is not keeping up with current events. See it is Now January 4th and I have not had a single annoying tweet about Tim Tebow signing  a multi-year deal with ESPN.

Shane knows that I hate Tebow. More than I hate every other football player that ever lived. Including Brett “I’m going to un-retire for the 5th time” Farve. It has been an ongoing subject between us for a few years. And now that annoying motherfucker is signing a deal with ESPN to be a commentator ()? I guess he might be successful at that — after all he sucks as QB. Granted it is for the SEC network, one of ESPN’s way-too-many sister stations (Since it is a southern station, it is probably the inbreed sister network). Still, if Shane were paying attention I would have heard about it. So I call on my fellow bloggers: Is it time to hold a no-confidence vote? And if we hold it and succeed then what? I suggest that if the no-confidence vote passes, Shane is required to watch every Tim Tebow segment in 2014 and post synopses of them here.

Take Action!
