The Snap:

Today is Christmas, and I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I hope that you are enjoying the day with friends and family.

The Download:

Last year my wife and I spent Christmas in Barossa Valley, Australia, touring wine country and drinking. We are doing the same thing this year but in Margaret River, Australia. For us, the holiday tradition has involved white wine in the sun. It is a different holiday tradition, and for us a short lived one, since we are moving from Singapore back to the north east of the U.S. Regardless it has been fun.

I also wanted to use this post to link to some of the holiday things that I like. The first is Foamy Christmas Radio. This is a streaming Christmas music service run by Poz. It plays classic Christmas music. The second is “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.” The original animated version, not the Jim Carrey re-make. The third is buying gifts for my nieces and nephews. We don’t have kids, but there is something nice about looking for stuffed dragons for my brother’s twin girls (they were born this year so according the the Chinese zodiac they are dragons) and all of the other kids.
